Bianca Bharti joins BetaKit as newsletter editor

BetaKit

Former National Post reporter joins as BetaKit’s newsletter editor.

I am thrilled to announce that Bianca Bharti has joined BetaKit’s editorial team as its first-ever newsletter editor.

Bianca Bharti

Bianca is one of Canada’s top up-and-coming journalists, with broad reporting experience and a passion for innovation and technology. She comes to us from the Financial Post as a reporter covering stories ranging from economic trends and wealth management to market-moving enterprises. At the Financial Post, Bianca secured a SABEW 2021 Canada Best in Business Journalism Award for one of her pieces on personal finance and investing. She’s also held roles at the National Post, as a digital producer, and at the Toronto Star, as a breaking news reporter.

Bianca’s combination of reporting and digital experience makes her the perfect choice to add context and colour to the latest tech news, helping BetaKit’s readers stay informed and connected.

Our goal is to provide the definitive, must-read newsletter for anyone and everyone in Canadian tech.

As newsletter editor, Bianca will be in charge of accelerating BetaKit’s flagship newsletter, and will play a key role in defining and growing our editorial capabilities within the format. The fractured nature of today’s internet makes a direct connection with our audience all the more important, and we’re excited to provide our readers with more access to breaking news, leading editorial coverage, and exclusive content.

Our goal is to provide the definitive, must-read newsletter for anyone and everyone in Canadian tech.

Bianca’s addition to the team reinforces our commitment to the growth of our editorial capabilities following the recent announcement of BetaKit’s strategic partnership with Good Future. With these investments, BetaKit will provide enhanced editorial offerings, subscriber benefits, and community initiatives to better serve the Canadian tech ecosystem.

BetaKit is on a mission to connect, interrogate, and inform Canadian tech. If you believe in this mission the way we do, join us: BetaKit hiring a new senior editor and a permanent CEO, with more roles to be announced in the New Year.
